The New Editor (h/t Michelle Malkin) posts on how the University of Florida is going to make the Gators - Seminole game carbon neutral. Now that's stupid - but I can top that.
I heard Anthony Shorris, Director of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, talk about the latest plans for Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY. They are 1) going to make the terminal extra carbon-negative, so as to offset all those evil airplanes; and 2) set up an environmentally friendly relationship with a local university to research emission-saving methods for airports - all this presumably funded by taxpayers.
I have two simple requests:
1) Could college football teams please play football.
2) Could airports please try to get as many passengers as possible through their facilities with as few delays as possible.
Is this really so hard?
